Tetra Tech Coffey Awarded Prestigious ALGA Award for Best Contaminated Site Assessment for Lemon Springs Waste Burial Remediation.

Tetra Tech Coffey together with Enviropacific Services has been recognised at the ALGA 2024 Awards in Sydney, Australia for Best Contaminated Site Assessment the Lemon Springs Waste Burial Remediation project—a testament to innovation, collaboration, and environmental excellence.

This groundbreaking project addressed significant environmental challenges at the Lemon Springs site in Victoria, which spanned 285 hectares with 32 underground waste burial sites. Over three years of intensive fieldwork, this complex remediation effort, led by Principal Environmental Engineer Tim Shanahan, together with Tetra Tech Scientists and Environmental specialists delivered cutting-edge solutions and sustainable practices.

Tim Shannahan and David Lam from Tetra Tech’s team were at the ALGA awards in Sydney to receive the award.

This project underscores our commitment to #Leading with Science to safeguard communities and ecosystems.
